Todd has been a dedicated outdoors man since early childhood where he learned from a young age the benefits of spending time fishing and hunting. Practicing under his father’s guidance, Todd could be found fly fishing the many trout lakes in the West Kootenays looking for that perfect dry fly presentation, or out wading in the Columbia River for hours hoping for that monster Gerrard to start peeling off line.
Todd continued his passion for the outdoors taking a fly fishing job on the Findlay River in Northern BC guiding anglers to aggressive Rainbows and hungry Bull Trout. While out chasing his dreams, he remained close to family where there was always time made for his father to go on self-guided fishing trips on the Salt for monster Chinook, or out in the swamps of the north searching for elusive Moose and casting flies for Arctic Grayling.
Todd now calls the Shuswap home with his wife, Danielle and son, Axel, where his passion for the outdoors has become a family lifestyle. While spending most of his time on the “Shu” hunting the depths for monsters, he also jumps at the chance to try the many different fisheries the province has to offer. Todd has also found a passion for sharing his experience and knowledge of the outdoors making videos and writing articles, and has been featured in many outdoor magazines.
